The Story
Raro Boda is a fragrant coffee that captivates with its citrus and floral tones. Juicy notes of lychee, preserved lemon, ripe nectarine, and rose jam combine for a refreshing cup. Sourced from the Raro Boda wet mill in Ethiopia’s Guji Zone, this vibrant washed coffee benefits from the efforts of approximately 257 farmers practicing organic methods amidst lush vegetation.
The Raro Boda washing station has been refurbished to enhance processing control, utilizing a Penagos eco-pulper and tiled fermentation tanks. Quality Control Manager Medhin Tamiru oversees operations, ensuring that the coffee produced is of the highest quality. Snap Coffee, which operates several washing stations, also focuses on supporting farmers with agricultural knowledge and community development, fostering a sustainable and ethical coffee supply chain.
